After-School Program Curriculum Overview
Age Groups:
- **Early Learners (Ages 5-7)**

Weekly Themes:
Each week will have a theme that guides activities, discussions, and projects. Themes might include Science Week, Arts & Crafts Week, Sports & Active Play Week, and Cultural Awareness Week.
Daily Schedule:
3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Snack and Free Play
- Supervised time for kids to enjoy a healthy snack and socialize with friends.
3:30 PM – 4:15 PM: Educational Enrichment
Early Learners - Hands-on activities focused on basic math, reading readiness, and nature exploration.
Middle Grades - STEM projects, reading groups, and age-appropriate research topics.
Tweens - Discussions on current events, creative writing, and interactive science experiments.
4:15 PM – 5:00 PM: Creative Arts**
- **Early Learners:** Simple crafts, storytelling sessions, and beginner music lessons.
- **Middle Grades:** Painting, drama games, and music composition.
- **Tweens:** Advanced art projects, drama performances, and digital media creation.
5:00 PM – 5:45 PM: Physical Activity**
- **Early Learners:** Fun games like tag, obstacle courses, and simple sports.
- **Middle Grades:** Team sports, dance classes, and fitness challenges.
- **Tweens:** Gymnastics, yoga, or organized sports, encouraging teamwork and leadership.
5:45 PM – 6:00 PM: Wind Down and Reflection**
- Group discussion about the day’s activities, fostering communication skills and emotional expression.
